Deep Tissue Massage involves the application of exact techniques and pressures to make changes to specific tissue layers of the body. It is a versatile form of treatment providing a means of delivering a more effective form of therapy.
The unique Deep Tissue Massage course taught at the school has become famous for its specific attention to practitioner posture, application and technique. The course introduces the practitioner to the theory and practice of Deep Tissue Massage techniques which develop on from foundation diploma courses in massage and/or sports injuries as well as lending its way to “HANDS FREE MASSAGE”.
The course is intended to give the practitioner a wider understanding in the therapeutic treatment of patients as well as adding to the arsenal of tools that are available for “SAVING HANDS” during a session.
Deep Tissue Massage techniques can be used in conjunction with many other therapies and the course will explore the many other disciplines in which this can be incorporated.
It is a course qualification which on completion, will allow the practitioner to obtain full professional insurance and gain employment in conjunction with previous massage training.
