Eden Wellbeing was established in 2014 by myself, Allie Maisey.  I am a qualified Palliative Care Complementary Therapist and Teacher of around 23  years, and currently teach Complementary Therapies as well as Anatomy & Physiology, but am also a past Health & Social Care Lecturer.  Eden Wellbeing was set up to meet the needs of individua Read more »ls who have more challenging needs, and myself and team of around 5 therapists specialise in treating clients with disabilities, dementia and for palliative care.  We visit approximately 8 care organisations, ranging from young adults with learning/behavioural difficulties to end of life clients, and use therapeutic massage, aromatherapy, Manual Lymphatic Massage, Reflexology and adapted treatments to meet individual needs.   As well as carrying out visits to care organisations, we have a treatment room, where clients are able to visit, as well as carrying out home visits for clients who may find visiting our establishment challenging.   I work alongside MacMillan, providing therapies on their wellbeing days and "Take Control" events.  As well as providing hands on therapies, I am also a Stress Management Consultant and carry out workshops on ways to recognise stress, as well as teaching useful techniques and coping mechanisms to combat stress.  These classes can be combined with Sleep and Relaxation workshops, which I also offer.
