Description

This course is an in-depth look at gut health and will give you the knowledge and confidence to help clients who are struggling with digestive issues and who don’t really know what to do or where to begin.

In this course you will learn the basics of what a healthy gut should be like, what makes a gut healthy and some of the most common underlying causes of poor gut health. You will take a look at topics such as ‘leaky gut’ and the gut microbiome, the importance of good eating habits and the effects of stress on the gut. Most importantly, you will discover how to talk to your clients about gut health and help them help themselves through small changes in their diet and lifestyle.

This course assumes you already have a knowledge of basic anatomy and physiology and are working in the health industry or studying towards a qualification. It is not for absolute beginners, but is, instead aimed at complementary health therapists, beauty therapists, yoga instructors and health coaches wishing to extend their knowledge.
