Issue by issue we are going to be covering some of ThinkTree’s great and unrivalled list of benefits. To find all your incentives, first log in [ThinkTree Hub] and then click on My Account. This will bring up all the lists of benefits we have gathered together for you.

We thought we’d start with our insurance offers. Now you can get insurance in many places and usually membership groups offer discounted deals, it’s true. However what is unusual about ThinkTree is that we can offer you discounted insurance from two of the most respected insurers in the health and wellbeing marketplace: Holistic Insurance Services and Balens. Insurance is not the most ‘sexy’ of subjects but as a therapist it is essential that you ensure you are covered – and that you also look at the requirements of insurances have of you in terms of e.g. record-keeping and compliance to ensure you meet your obligations.

Both of our providers’ policies cover claims on a claims occurring basis: this means that as long as you were insured for the period when an incident is alleged to have taken place you will be covered whenever a claim is made. This is not true for all insurance policies which may be on a claims made basis and is always worth checking. In addition, if you are covered in the UK and it is your normal place or residence you will have some temporary cover if working abroad – do ask for more details on this if it is relevant to you as there may be some exclusions and limitations. Insurance now also includes some element to cover loss of reputation.

Cost of Cover (additional premiums may apply for certain therapist)
Holistic/complementary Therapies – from £49.00
Standard Beauty Treatments – from £82.00
Student case study work – from £15.00
