Bio

Carly Budd is a well renowned Paediatric Occupational Therapist and Educator, sharing her passion and expertise in early child development and the importance of movement and play from a neurodevelopmental lens.

Carly is the founder of the Developmental Play Academy, an online education platform for professionals seeking in-depth, evidence-based knowledge and practical skills to support child development in the early years, with lifelong outcomes. Her Advanced Practitioner courses include Tummy Time Practitioner training, Level 3 Diploma in Infant Developmental Play 0-1 years and Level 3 Diploma in Toddler Developmental Play 1-3 years.

Carly has over 400 students and practitioners across the globe ranging from allied health professionals, midwives, osteopaths, early years teachers, childcare practitioners and baby class facilitators.

Carly is an advocate of play, and works with a number of organisations as a consultant and speaker to raise awareness of the importance of early play experiences and varied play diets.

Carly is happiest playing with her children amongst the trees, she is a lover of music and dance, and you can often find her out walking her dog!
