Accredited Courses
What are Accredited Courses?
Accredited courses are those that are reviewed, recognised and monitored by ThinkTree Hub in order to make sure that they meet specific criteria and quality standards. The requirements for the courses to be accredited are set out in the process for accredited and cpd courses. Once proposed courses meet the requirements set out in the mentioned document, they are listed on the accredited courses page of the website and will approved by major insurance companies.
What are the Advantages of Accredited over Non-Accredited course?
The most obvious advantage of accredited over non-accredited courses is that the accredited ones provide the students and industry with a guarantee of quality of both the course programme and the professional association. Non-accredited qualifications, on the other hand, are not regulated and there is no guarantee that they meet appropriate standards. There is no way to tell whether they are fit for their purpose for the industry, if they include relevant content or if appropriate methodology for assessment is used. ThinkTree courses are not regulated, however follow a robust and quality assurance process to meet many industry standards. Sometimes however, the CPD courses that are offered by course providers may lead to a recognised industry, fit for purpose course.
ThinkTree Hub will support, check and verify resources and training to meet agreed accreditation criteria. ThinkTree Hub can also provide consultancy to ensure quality and standards are met. Our accreditation service is for unique and bespoke training programmes and courses that, on successful completion, qualify learners to work in their relevant industries.
